You’ve Got The Love!
I never feel so connected to media as I do when I watch the world fall into place in a movie or t.v. show and the moment is accompanied by the perfect song. I.E.-the Sex and the City finale. You’ve Got The Love by Candi Staton plays while Carrie, who had been told by her friends who so cared about her NOT to go to France with her self-involved older boyfriend, walks into their famous coffee shop for their morning coffee after having finally had her deepest fears, dreams, and realities realized. She has her friends, her style, her Big, and most of all, her city.
Well let me tell you all something, those of you who have ventured upon this little ol’ bloggity blog of mine on your Internet travels, I am willing to stay completely and utterly idealistic if it means that one day I will attract to me my very own happy ending. My happy ending with my girls that never leave my side, my boys that are my shoulder when things get tough, my own personal style complete with my indestructible curly mass of hair, my Big, and hopefully…my city. Oh, and that perfect song that tells me all my hoping and believing has finally paid off.
